Crohn's Disease

Overview

Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that can affect any portion of the gastrointestinal tract. Symptoms of Crohn's often include diarrhea, abdominal pain, cramping, weight loss, and significant impact on quality of life.

While there is no cure for Crohn's disease, remission is possible. Proper treatment can slow disease progression and greatly improve quality of life. Treatment options can include any combination of oral, topical, infused, and self-injected medications.
