Specialty medications are drugs used to treat serious or chronic medical conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, multiple sclerosis, cystic fibrosis, hepatitis C, psoriasis, cancer, solid organ transplant and hemophilia. These drugs can be injected, infused, or taken orally, and typically require special handling and other specialty expertise.

With a prescription from your doctor and access for coverage from your insurance plan, Fairview Specialty Pharmacy will fill and deliver specialty medications on the day and to the US address you request.

Fairview Specialty Pharmacy staff will contact you 5 to 7 days before your prescription refill is due. You may receive a text message with an internet link to our secure Fairview LINK website or receive a call.

If there is ever a question about your order or what to do about your care in any situation, please contact the pharmacy and we will assist you. We will work with you and your care team to develop a plan to ensure you have access to your medications.

Copayments may be made by credit card. Credit card information must accompany your prescription request.

If you have a bill or statement from our pharmacy, you can pay your bill online at https://fps.mysecurebill.com/mempayment.  If you do not have a statement or if you have a question for our billing department, please call 1-800-527-1246.

Call us at 1-800-595-7140. We will gather the required information and obtain the prescription on your behalf. Generally, if you have been filling with another mail order or specialty pharmacy, we’ll contact your physician for a new prescription. If you have a medication at a local pharmacy and want to use our mail order service, we’ll contact the pharmacy directly.

Your medication will be sent to you in a plain package with a return address only. The pharmacy name will not be listed on the package.

For specialty medications, continuous glucose monitor supplies and insulin pump supplies, our pharmacy will confirm a delivery date 2-3 business days after an order is placed and we’ve confirmed coverage by your insurance plan. Non-specialty medications are mailed and typically take 5 to 7 days from the time we receive your valid prescription order. If you need your medication sooner, please contact us to discuss your options and make new arrangements if necessary.

When you order directly from our Specialty Pharmacy, there are no shipping charges.

  • An advocate who is able to help resolve issues that get in the way of patients taking their medication the way a health care provider prescribes, whether it be financial, practical or clinical.
  • A pharmacy that works with health care providers to ensure patients receive the most benefit from a specialty drug therapy.
