Mail Order for all your medications
If you have other pharmacy needs, most patients can order their non-specialty drugs and supplies from our pharmacy in addition to their specialty or transplant medications. When we can fill your maintenance medications at the same time as your specialty order, we’ll ship you a combined order delivered next day. Otherwise, your tablets, capsules and diabetes testing supplies are mailed to the address of your choice.
Quality
Fairview Mail Order Pharmacy supplies the same high-quality, FDA-approved medications found at our retail pharmacies

Our Delivery Service
Your medications are delivered to you at no extra cost. For orders that include specialty medications, we use a courier service to addresses in the greater Minneapolis, Saint Paul and Duluth areas. We partner with FedEx to complete next-day delivery to every state in the US. Some addresses in Hawaii and Alaska take an extra day. Medications that are not categorized as specialty and are not temperature sensitive, are shipped US Mail.
Our Packaging
Specialty medications are delivered the day after they leave our pharmacy. They arrive at your home, clinic, or workplace in unmarked, temperature-controlled packaging. For refrigerated medications, our patients receive special cooler boxes lined with insulation panels and ice packs.
A Landfill-Free Cooler
Fairview Pharmacy Services has partnered with StarchTech for the non-toxic biodegradable cooler panels we use with most shipments of medications that require temperature control. These cooler panels are made with renewable resources, provide insulation equivalent to traditional polystyrene coolers, and are manufactured in the United States. If you receive a shipment with biodegradable cooler panels, you can dispose of them by composting them in a backyard compost bin, through a drop-off composting program, or (if available) your curbside collection program.
The cooler panels are made with Green Cell FoamTM, a renewable corn starch material that offers a sustainable solution for thermal shipping materials. Green Cell Foam meets the American Society for Testing and Materials’ standards for biodegradability (ASTM D6400-04 and D6868) and is BPI certified compostable, which ensures it will fully and safely break down in commercial composting facilities. By using these starch-based cooler panels, Fairview prevents more than 100,000 polystyrene coolers per year from entering our communities’ waste stream.
A partnership with our community
To assemble these coolers, we partnered with Merrick Inc., a local non-profit that employs adults with developmental disabilities. Crews consisting of clients and job coaches assemble the boxes and insert the starch panels before shipment.

Fairview Specialty Pharmacy ships specialty drugs in polystyrene coolers for some patients. We recommend recycling or reusing these containers.
